Hotel Izulu is a 5 star Ballito hotel which boasts 19 luxurious suites within a contemporary blend of Tuscan architecture, African features and Balinese influences. Different styles of architecture form a convivial mix, and are most often described as “an African heart with an eastern spirit”.
Five luxurious freestanding villas are spread out in manicured grounds and each villa offers two Executive Suites, two Deluxe Suites, a private courtyard and an 8-seater Jacuzzi.

Executive & Deluxe Suites
Our Executive suites are situated on the ground floor of each villa with direct access onto the garden.
The deluxe suites which are situated on the upper level of each and offer elevated views of the property and manicured gardens all overlooking the pool.
Bathrooms all have separate baths and showers, twin basins, heated towel rails and luxury amenities from Earthbound.
President Suite
The President’s Suite pays tribute to former President, Nelson Mandela and affords guests the opportunity to learn about a significant part of South African history through the rare collectors items showcased in the Suite.
Royal Suite
The Royal Suite. Luxurious living manifests itself in the Royal Suite the preferred choice of VIPs and Hollywood celebrities. Sprawled across the entire top floor of Villa Ingelosi, it encompasses a bar, dining area, personal deck and Jacuzzi, which incidentally overlooks the Indian Ocean.
The Royal Suite is perfect for honeymooners or boutique, private meetings.
Romance Suite
The Romance Suite has been created to evoke a sense of romance, tranquillity and total relaxation with calming blue hues, plush throws on the bed and candlelight setting the mood. An oversized bath and deluxe double volume shower completes the setting.
Zebra Suite
The Zebra Suite adds a touch of wildlife to one of four ‘mood Suites’ at the Hotel. Carefully selected décor pieces and artwork add a sense of African wildlife, which is prolific in some of the finest bush lodges in KwaZulu-Natal.
